Pending determination of case

Justice Ebrima Jaiteh of the High Court on Friday ordered that all physical possession of properties and assets of Banta Keita be frozen pending the hearing and determination of the substantive suit against him.
The suit was instituted against him by the Attorney General and the Drug Law Enforcement Agency.
Banta Keita, who is accused of criminal conduct, was charged with nine counts ranging from drug trafficking to money laundering.
He is also the main suspect in connection with trafficking the largest ever cocaine seizure in the country by the narcotic agency.
The court granted state counsel L Jarjue’s application that order of freezing injunction and restraining his privies, servants, or agents from disposing or dealing with all his belongs in the country, which includes freezing of his accounts at Zenith Bank and Ecobank, a three-bedroom apartment at Fajara beach frontage worth two hundred and forty thousand Euros, and property at Fajara M Section worth six million dalasis, etc
