Young Gambian defender John Bass is sick and in dire need of medical assistance. The young Gambian international who plays his club football for Brikama Utd was recently called up for national duties but was forced to withdraw by the illness that he has requested be kept private.
After undergoing a series of check ups at the Edward Francis Small Teaching Hospital in Banjul, he was diagnosed and advised to seek further treatment abroad, which is going to cost him a lot of money which he does not have. It is as result of this that he has decided to call for assistance from anybody, institutions/organizations and philanthropists.
His close friends said he is really running against the clock to not only save his career but in a worse case scenario his life.
