GAMBIANS DOMINATE SENEGALESE CUP FINALS

At least four Gambian players will feature in the two important cup finals in Senegal coming soon.
Gibril Sillah and Madi Fatty helped put their team ASC Rufisque into the final of the Coupe du Senegal after beating UGB 1-0 at the Stade Ngalandou Diouf, the home of their team also called by the local name of Rufisque, Tengengue. Gibril was in the starting eleven of the grueling semi final while Madi, also called Fisher, came as a substitute in the second half . It was however the 51st minute goal of Alassane Diouf (Baloteli) that won the game. No date has been fixed yet for the final which will see them meet US Goree Meanwhile Bun Sanneh and Cherno Jobe too are in the final of the Coupe de la Ligue after their club Generation- Foot beat Diaraf 2-0 to advance to the final where they will meet Diambarr who beat US Goree.

This final will be played on June 2.
So far Gambian players in Senegalese league have in between them scored a total of 15 goals with Pa Omar Jobe taking the golden boot.
