The Gambia Football Federation has revised its calendar for the period covering this current nawettan and coming league season, but the rest of the calendar from 2015-16 season remains unchanged.
According to the revised calendar, the Super Nawettan will now start on November 24 instead of November 2 as previously proposed. Consequently all nawettan programmes must end by November 24.
The national league football will start on December 14 with the Super Cup while the league proper is now fixed to start on December 20.
The GFF did not say what led to the changes but it followed a meeting with zonal representatives at which the new leaders at Football House were told that part of their calendar was not feasible and that it should have been prepared after thorough research and consultations with the local football leaders.
