Former Chief of Defense Staff, Lt General Masaneh Kinteh will leave for his ambassadorial post in China this Friday, reliable sources informed The Standard.

Kinteh was relieved of his post in March and was redeployed to the Foreign Service.
However, it took some six months to reactivate the general to the Far East probably because of the Covid-19 pandemic. “He will be leaving this Friday. He is ready, everything is ready. It has been communicated to us,” a government official told The Standard.
