Macky Sall continue to defend ambition for UN job

On July 6, 2026, the former President of Senegal met with HE Mr Michael Waltz, Permanent Representative of the United States to the United Nations. At the end of this meeting, Macky Sall expressed his satisfaction with the quality of the exchanges, which he found “constructive and in-depth”.

Discussions focused on topics of major interest, including the reform of the Organisation.

Macky Sall thanked the American diplomat for this meeting.
