In consideration of the rapid contagion of the disease and the shortage of preventive supplies in communities across the world, the gesture is  meant to enhance the police force in curbing the spread of Covid-19.

The event was held at the Police headquarters on Monday 19 October 2020.

A total of 120 buckets were donated for onward distribution to various police stations in the country.
