The amnesty granted to the convicted Norwegian pedophile, whose release caused a huge outcry in the country has been reversed by the prerogative of mercy committee, Ebrima Mballow, Interior Minister, confirmed to Kerr Fatou.
According to Mr Mballow, the committee has already written to inform President Adama Barrow about their decision reached at a meeting at his ministry yesterday.
The Norwegian who is reported to be currently under the immigration custody, will now have to be returned to prisons with this new development.
Sandaker was slapped with a three-year jail term with a fine of D600, 000 in 2012 for allegedly abusing six children and the youngest at the time was about three years.
Mr Sandaker’s jail term was extended to another three years following his failure to pay the fine imposed on him by the court.
