NSC orders Basketball Assoc. to hold AGM

The National Sports Council, NSC, has asked the Basketball Association to hold AGM by June 29. The decision which was also conveyed to all clubs’ and team managers came after stakeholders submitted a long list of allegations of violations against the executive committee of the GBA to the NSC, the regulatory body of all sports.
After receiving the complaints, the NSC advised both parties to iron out their differences at an AGM which has not been conducted by the GBA since before 2017. The date for the AGM has been fixed for June 29.
