Assistant Superintendent Foday Conta, the deputy spokesperson of the Gambia Police Force has confirmed that police have now completed investigations into the alleged beach sex with a minor involving a French man.
Conta said the police have now passed the file to AG chambers for action.
John Veneau, a French citizen is being investigated for allegedly having carnal knowledge of a suspected minor in the sea on 3 June.
According to ASP Conta, police are yet to receive any response from the AG Chambers, which is mandated to provide legal advice to government in all areas.
