“The media serves as an avenue through which the police can use to create public awareness,” he exclusively told The Standard in his office.
He added: “The new form of policing calls for partnership with media and inclusion of community members in any policing. In order to achieve this, much needed to be done to make the general public become aware of what we are up to.”
Kujabi appealed for concerted efforts between the media, health facilities and the police by enhanced information sharing mechanisms in order to adequately safeguard the lives and property of the people.

He said: “It has always been said that the police and the doctors are here to safeguard the life of the people. These two institutions should link.”
