By Mafugi Ceesay

Mariama Ceesay, principal registrar of the Banjul High Court yesterday gave evidence in the 9 NIA trial.
Mariama said the documents between Inspector General of Police and the late Ebrima Solo Sandeng are in her custody and are certified.
Meanwhile, the prosecution applied to tender the documents but it was objected by the lead defense counsel C E Mene who argued that the said documents are completely different to the case, saying that they were not served a copy of the documents prior to the application made for admission.

On the side of the prosecution team, Lawyer Lamin S Camara argued that the defense cannot object to the document since it is decided by the court already.
He urged the court to overrule the objection.
Justice Kumba Sillah-Camara on her side admitted and marked the said documents as exhibit P1 and Affidavit P2 and Further Affidavit P3. The case continues.
