Yankuba’s lawyer begs for time to allow witness to arrive from Senegal

Lawyer Abdulai Sissohor, representing former AFPRC member Yankuba Touray, yesterday pleaded for time at the High Court to allow his second defence witness to arrive from the neighboring Senegal.

Lawyer Sissohor disclosed that the witness would be available before 4 August, 2020 if she is not placed under quarantine.
He therefore craved the court’s indulgence to oblige him a very short adjournment.
The trial judge then adjourned the case to 4 August, 2020.
