The Assets Management and Recovery Corporation has issued a statement announcing that government has invoked the AMRC Act and granted approval for it (AMRC) to henceforth recover the debts owed to the former Keystone Bank Ltd on behalf of the Government of The Gambia with immediate effect.
Consequently, according to the statement, all debtors of the former Keystone Bank Ltd are urged to contact the AMRC and all payments for the settlement of their debts should be paid into the AMRC/KAMCO Account with the Central Bank of The Gambia through the AMRC office. “Debtors may also effect payment into any AMRC/KAMCO account with MegaBank LTD throughout the Country. The AMRC also issued a list of debtors that can be found on page 13.
