Debutant LRR and neighbours Foni have both reached the quarterfinals after completing their group matches. LRR secured two draws but managed to beat Serekunda Central to move to 5 points enough to secure them what will surely go down in history as a memorable quarterfinal in their debut year. Since Saturday, natives of LRR have taken to social media heaping praises on the players.
By the same token Foni too has made to the quarterfinals creating a great amusement in Foni over the weekend. The neighbours now progress to the quarter-finals at the expense of group mates mighty BEM and Whipping Boys Serekunda Central. The other final group matches were in progress as we went to press last night. Today is break in the fixtures with the quarterfinal starting tomorrow Tuesday.
