Press release

It has come to the notice of the campaign team of Rohey Malick Lowe, aspirant for Mayorship 2018, that certain opponents are engaged in spreading unfounded speculations that Madame Lowe does not meet the requirements of a candidate for mayor.

This campaign wishes to make it clear that such speculations are unfounded, misleading and calculated to distract the good cause of this dedicated candidate.
For the records, we wish to state that Madame Lowe has meet all eligibility criteria spelt out by the independent electoral commission IEC, including and not limited to acquisition of a voters card and residency qualification among others.

The team Rohey campaign wishes to assure all supporters and militants that the best way to treat such unfounded rumours is to ignore them as the rubbish and concentrate on our campaign to deliver a Banjul that all well meaning Banjulians would be proud of.

The politics of calumny, misinformation and falsehood is over.
In the same vein the campaign wishes to thank the supporters and volunteers for a very hard work and urge them to focus on this noble crusade.
Long live Rohey Malick Lowe Campaign
Macoumba Sanneh, campaign manager
