The National Peoples Party has received another boost with Mamadou Bah 1, another presidential aspirant whose nomination was rejected, endorsing President Adama Barrow.
The former teacher met the president in Kerewan Wednesday as he continues his campaign in the North Bank Region.
Mr Bah, who has a master’s degree in African Studies from Sheikh Anta Diop university, grabbed headlines on his nomination day when he described Gambia as hungry and sick needing Vitamin C.
Gambia Alliance for National Unity, Tamsir Jasseh, Mathew Gomez, Dr Amadou Kanteh, Mamadou Bah 2, Mamadi Camara, Alliance for National Reorientation and Development, have all recently joined the Barrow camp.
Sources close to the party said more aspirants are expected to endorse the president in the coming days.
