Former vice president Bakary Bunja Dabo, has been elected as the leader of the newly-formed Gambia For All party.
Accepting his election at the party’s maiden congress, BB said he will dedicate his remaining useful energy and public life to further the cause of the new party in its strive to contribute to the development of The Gambia.
BB Dabo, a respected first republic politician said the new party will not be just by the name but one that will comprise people from all backgrounds and regions of The Gambia.
“In the coming weeks we shall work on registering the party to start contributing to the development of this country,” Dabo, who broke away from his native PPP told the congress.He thanked the delegates and urged them to get set for what comes next, saying the country is faced with many challenges.
