Beatrice Allen swept the polls at the GNOC elective general assembly Saturday securing a four-year term as the head o the country’s Olympic Committee. Allen, an honorary IOC member, beat Police Commissioner and Combined Security Sports Association president Lamin King Colley 25 to 17 votes.
The election was one of the most keenly contested in the organization’s history. The Standard will tomorrow bring the reaction to the elections from both camps.
