The leader of the opposition Alliance for Patriotic Reorientation and Construction, Fabakary Tombong Jatta has said his rating of the Barrow administration is 25%.
Asked if that is not grossly unfair, FTJ said his decision is inspired by the fact that many key areas have not been given any attention so far.
Further asked if that was not unreasonable impatience with a government that has barely settled down, FTJ said the government has not done anything to put things in order.
FTJ further charged that President Barrow is alone because the people who are supposed to be giving him the honest and right support are all busy in their various political parties and that weakens him.
Reacting to the president’s state of the nation address, FTJ said he agreed to some of the issues the president raised but he has few objections when it comes to the implementation of those plans.
“We should have bilateral agreement with any other country on mutual basis but not to mortgage our own independence,” he said.
