Home Baze ends brand introduction seminar

By Samsideen Ceesay & Aminata S Kuyateh Home Baze, an integrated youth group, has recently ended a one-day seminar in conjunction with capacity building and brand introduction. Home Baze is a foundation formed back in 2015 as an integrated group of youth coming together with the objective of promoting and patronizing arts and culture in the Gambia and beyond. According to the organisers, the objective of the seminar was to build the capacity of youths seeking employment opportunities in the entertainment industry. The public relations officer, Home Baze, Lamin Jawara, said: “Home Baze’s mission is to create a platform that will enable Arts that are in the profession to showcase their talents and to help arts and culture to move to higher heights. We want to see the arts and culture of the Gambia go another level. “Our vision is to see the arts and culture of this great nation go higher, but Home Baze cannot do it alone, we need partnership of stakeholders to make our dreams success.” Meanwhile, the chairperson Home Baze, Lamin Kinteh, said: “Building the capacity of our stakeholders is always the highest priority in our agenda. We are not going to relent in our efforts towards building the capacity of members in the entertainment industry”.]]>
