I was born and bred in Bakau New Town and a graduate of Nusrat High School where I studied science. I am studying Law at the University of The Gambia where I am a final year student. I am 22 years of age.
I chose to read Law because it is something I have always wanted to do. Lawyers play a crucial role in society and they stand for justice. That is very important, especially for women and children. My uncle who was once a master of the high court inspired me to study law. I am a quiet person and always like being nice to people because I hate hurting people.
I worked as an intern at Today Newspaper and later joined Temple Legal Practice where I worked for some time. My role model is my grandfather who taught me how to give my best to everything I do. I wish to become a successful lawyer one day with specialisation on corporate Law. I can’t wait to finish and join the bar association soon. Being a six feet tall young lady, most of my friends advised me to go into modeling but my passion lies away from modeling. My greatest aspiration in life is to be happy.
