A man believed to be one of the Imams in Brikama Jalangbang was found dead just behind Gambia College on the back road to Jalangbang ,Tuesday.
Eyewitnesses reported the man to be one Saidou Barry, who was almost certainly attacked resulting in his death.
The victim, who was staying at Imam Junction in Jalangbang is also known to be a livestock trader at the Brikama Livestock market, where he trekked back and forth everyday.

A police source confirmed a body was discovered from that location but would not give any details.
A resident of Jalangbang said the late Barry was a devoted Muslim who regularly led prayers in Jalangbang.
