By Amadou Jadama High Court Judge Buba Jawo has passed away yesterday and was laid to rest at Dawuru near Brikama. Jawo was appointed last year as a High Court Judge after long service in different capacities including magistrate, Sheriff among others. Langding M Sanneh, the Judiciary Secretary said Jawo was very dedicated and committed to his work. “Jawo was a perfect gentle man of exemplary character,” Sanneh said in tribute. The Chief Justice of The Gambia Assan Jallow, SG Ebrima O Camara representing President Barrow and Attorney General Ba Tambadou attended the burial alongside many colleagues and staff of the judiciary. He is survived by a wife and several children.]]>
