A leading Libyan newspaper yesterday announced that the Anti-Illegal Immigration Agency of the Maghrebi nation has deported 54 illegal immigrants of Gambian nationality to Banjul
According to the Libya Observer, the deportation was done in cooperation with the Ain Zara shelter centre through Mitiga International Airport.
“This came within the agency’s efforts to facilitate the procedures for immigrants wishing to return voluntarily to their countries in cooperation with the International Organisation for Migration,” the report stated.
