Tombong Jadama, a senior journalist has reported that he lost most of his valuables Saturday when floods invaded his house while he was away.
Jadama said he lost household materials and a laptop containing his work and project documents among others.
”I was away from home visiting a friend when the rains started and my house got flooded in my absence. When I returned I sought help from people to open my house as all the approaches were virtually impassable. I found my bed floating while other valuables were deep in water,” Jadama, who lives near Tipper Garage fish market told The Standard.
“This a horrible situation for me, because in the laptop there are two projects I was working on; one of them almost completed but the other is halfway done. I have lost all my tools and I am appealing for help to replace my journalistic materials,” Jadama said.
