Magistrate FB Jallow of the Kanifing court Tuesday ordered one Assan Camara to pay D100,000 for unlawful possession of firearms.
According to the particulars of the case, Assan Camara was on the 20th June 2021 at Gunjur Madina found in possession of one Rohm RG 89 revolver pistol, a single barrel hunting gun and six live rounds without proper authority or valid license.

He pleaded guilty to the charges and Magistrate FB Jallow ordered him to pay D100,000 in default to serve one year in prison.
Prosecutor L Gomez represented the Inspector General of Police.
