Sarjo Jallow, a 50-year-old man is seeking financial assistance to help him amputate his left limb.
Jallow, a wood cutter had an accident at his work place sustaining severe foot injury after falling from a tree and landed on heavy metals rooted in a fence that cut through his leg.
Doctors at the Arbeiter Samariter Bund (ASB) clinic in Serrekunda recommended a surgery to amputate a portion of his leg but Jallow said he is in desperate need of financial help to cover his medical bills since he cannot afford the costs.
“I am a poor man. I cannot afford to bring the money required to conduct the operation. I will appreciate any kind of donation or support to make this operation a success,” Jallow pleaded.
Sarjo said he is unable to walk due to the pain, stating that as a bread winner, the pain has brought huge difficulty for him in the sustenance of his family.
