The former Bombada striker Mustapha Drammeh, who was reported to have absconded whilst on trial in France has been found in Belgium, Standard Sports can report.
Drammeh was sent on trial with French Ligue 1 side Rennes through GloSports Company two months ago.
The player surprisingly disappeared and his whereabouts has not been known since then.
In an interview with Standard Sports, Hatib Janneh, GloSports partner in The Gambia said the player was found two weeks ago.

“We want to inform the general public that Mustapha, the boy that absconded in Paris is finally found. He has apologized to us and also to his family and to all Gambians. He has begged forgiveness and we [the GLO sport] have forgiven him and he is back in training while we sort his situation. We have given him place to stay and he is fine. GLO sports is here to help Gambian footballers and also will not allow one person to spoil it for all. We hope the present situation with the Gambian Football Federation and the ministry of sports will be resolve soon. Football is part of my life and I want the best for Gambian football,” said Janneh.
The sensational striker, he said, is currently with GloSports officials in Paris. “We are negotiating with Rennes on his issue again, but if that fails we will try another team.”
