Karamo Jadama, the Regional Chairman of the United Democratic Party in the North Bank Region, has announced that the entire region is ready and will come out in full force to welcome President Adama Barrow who arrives in the region on June 16.
The President will begin his meet-the-people tour of the country that day starting with NBR where he is expected to spend two days, holding meetings across the seven constituencies.
“This is very important for us as people of NBR in general and our chairmen, chairwomen, youth leaders and yai compins will turn in large numbers to welcome the President and make his tour and discussion with the people successful,” Jadama said.
The chairman also said the UDP leader. Ousainu Darboe has also urged his party supporters across the country to welcome and attend the meetings with the president and to help make his meeting with people successful.
