There is no dull moment in the flurry of international football nights in The Gambia as action continues in both the male and female fronts.
The GFF has announced that the Under 23 team, the Olympic Scorpions will meet Morocco in friendly on June 1 in Banjul.
This team is coached by Omar Sise and it will take part in the Africa Under-23 football championship tournament qualifiers which would be held in Egypt in 2019. The three most successful African teams from that tournament will qualify to the Japan 2020 Olympics games.
The GFF said President Lamin Kaba Bajo and his Moroccan counterpart have finalised arrangements for their Olympic teams to have a test matches in Banjul ahead of the qualifiers. Sise has invited 30 players for this assignment.
