Gambian Paul Joof, the founder and director of Songdehs Football Academy (SFA) has been appointed by Scout International, a global football scouting body trading as world soccer academies to work for them in The Gambia.
According to a letter confirming his appointment, Joof’s work shall include scouting players from the Gambia.
“The information provided to us by Paul Joof is for use on to select players that will take part in trials, tournaments, talent identification camps of world soccer academies and its partner clubs and academies around the world,” a statement from Scout International said.
Speaking to The Standard Mr Joof said he is very excited to be working with this global body and looking forward to working with Gambian clubs and academies in selecting potential players for inclusion.
