The police have confirmed the arrest of a top NPP supporter for allegedly obtaining up to D600,000 by false pretense. Police spokesperson Superintendent Lamin Njie yesterday evening confirmed to The Standard that Momodou Dahaba was arrested and charged with obtaining money by false pretense. PRO Njie said Dahaba will appear in court on Monday. Mr Dahaba allegedly took D600,000 from a woman in exchange for a plot of land in Bijilo.
