There has been another shake up in the police force, a week after the appointment of a new police chief. According to sources, the new movements too affect senior positions in the police echelon.
According to our sources the new Crime Management Coordinator CMC is Commissioner Demba Sowe, replacing Assistant Commissioner Bubacarr Sarr who has been reassigned with some other responsibility.
Also according to our sources a former Deputy Inspector General of Police, Modou Gaye who was recently reabsorbed and appointed Commissioner for Policy and Planning, has been moved to become the new Chief of Operations replacing Landing Bojang who has been redeployed to Kanifing Division.
