Real de Banjul Football Club has announced that youngster Kajally Drammeh has joined South African side Cape Town City FC on a permanent transfer.
“The winger, a hugely popular figure around the club and its fans, left the country at the weekend to join the South African DStv Premiership club on a deal that will run until June 2026”, the club said yesterday.
Real described the 18-year-old as a superb performer whose devastating form this season which attracted interest from a host of European clubs including Anderlecht, FC Midtjylland, Budapest Honvéd, Slovan Bratislava, FC Torino, FC Krasnodar, Ferencváros and a host of other clubs. Meanwhile in another development Real also announced the transfer of forward Ebrima Jatta to United Arab Emirates side Al-Ittihad Kalba SC.
The 20-year-old attacker, who was transferred to Armenia side Sevan FC in July 2021, leaves the landlocked country in favour of a move to Kalba where he has now penned a two –and- a- half-year contract.
