The newly-nominated Ombudsman Bakary Sanyang has now resigned from his post as governor of West Coast Region, a key demand by the National Assembly which will confirm his new job.
According to reliable sources, the Governor handed over the office to his deputy Musa Suso on Monday and is expected to send his resignation letter to the National Assembly committee.

Meanwhile The Standard has been reliably informed that Lamin Sanneh, who once served as governor of the same region, has now been appointed to the job. Sanneh is due to start work immediately after receiving his appointment letter Monday.
