For the second time in many days, the eagerly anticipated ruling on the state’s request for a freezing of 60 additional assets belonging to the former president and his associates has been deferred.
The high court in Banjul was expected to pass ruling on Friday but the judge asked for more information.
Yesterday too, we could not confirm from the judicial secretary and other court officials whether the ruling was delivered.

However, The Standard has become privy to the list of the 49 properties belonging to former president Jammeh or his associates the state wants to temporarily take ownership. They are listed below:

Clarification
Meanwhile it has been brought to our attention that in the headline story ‘MORE JAMMEH PROPERTIES IDENTIFIED’ of Monday July 24, it was stated: “A property formerly owned by (…) opposite the residence of Ryad Azzi in Bijilo” was of interest to judicial officers investigating Jammeh’s properties. In fact, this property STILL belongs to the original owner and it was merely rented out to President Jammeh or his associates.
