Terangas Gambia, an online shopping platform has introduced a free Mobile App through which customers can easily purchase goods and deliverables on their smartphones to their doorsteps.
Terangas, a shopping centre recently opened in Kololi, operates as a website purchasing company.
Speaking to journalists on the latest development, Awa Jammeh, a senior staff, said with the new app, customers can conveniently sit in their comfort zones and choose from a wide selection of food and supermarket products, electronics, construction materials, clothing, stationery and office supplies and get them delivered.

“The users of the App can select whatever they want. Then they can share their wish-list for a love one to pay for it. They can also check out directly with a Visa or MasterCard, or PayPal or just pay cash when the driver arrives with the products at their homes,” he said.
She said to expand its features, Terangas Gambia App now offers On-Demand, which allows users to request whatever they want, even if it’s not on the App or usually available in The Gambia “such as medical devices like blood sugar monitors and specific type of AC.

“Ultimately, Terangas Gambia aims to make getting everything our customers want from their smartphones.
Experience the future of shopping in The Gambia and try the new App available for free in the Google Play Store and App store,” Madam Jammeh explained.
She said they have hundreds of users in The Gambia and beyond who use the platform to buy things for their families in the country, “because they find it much easier and they can get more.”
Also speaking to journalists on the sideline, a customer said he is constructing a compound and it’s just so much easier to order everything from his phone and have it delivered to the project site rather than having to visit stores in Jimpex and coordinate a delivery truck.
