All 4 Gambia, a UK registered charity organisation that supports and promotes education for children, has recently donated learning materials worth thousands of dalasi to PL Coker’s nursery school in Bakau.
This is one of the many schools that the organisation has extended support to with over sixteen years of philanthropic work in Africa, Middle East and other parts of the world.
The latest move which includes dozens of exercise and reading books, pens, pencils, erasers, rulers, chalk amongst others were delivered to the school by the founders of the All4Gambia organisation Brian and Yvonne West.
Mr Brian said the aim of the organisation is to help children obtain education and contribute to the development of the country.
He assured of his organisation’s (All4Gambia) unwavering support in promoting education by providing more support to schools and providing scholarships to the needy.
The head of the school Isatou Manneh said comes at the right time.
Madam Manneh highlighted the numerous challenges the school is faced with amongst which are the unavailability of proper salary scale for the teachers, poor roofing and others while urging for more support.
