By Modou Lamin Beyai American club Tulsa Roughnecks have signed Gambian defender Modou Lamin Jadama ahead of the 2017 United Soccer League (third-tier) season. The 23-year-old center back joins the USL club after a recent stint with Coquimbo Unido in Chile’s second division. He joined Coquimbo on loan from the famous Chilean top club Colo-Colo wher he made his debut in 2015, in a Copa Chile match against Santiago Morning. He later suffered a knee injury, setting up his loan to Coquimbo. “Mo is a very exciting prospect who grew up in the Atlanta area but he has learned his crafts by spending 2½ years with Chilean powerhouse Colo-Colo,” Roughnecks head coach David Vaudreuil said. “He has composure and technical ability beyond his years that make him an exciting prospect.” The 6ft 1in player’s contract with Tulsa, a team formed just four years ago, will run out on November 30.]]>
