AfrinityTV Production has recently collaborated with the University of The Gambia School of Journalism and Digital Media for training of there students.
The training is designed to capacitise students on practical knowledge in the field of journalism and its related activities.
The CEO of Afrinity TV Production, Winfred U. Adams, said the school “wrote to us that they want their students to come on a practical training in AfrinityTV production. When the students came to the office and saw what we are doing, they fall in love with the way we work here.”
According to CEO Adams, the students will undergo three months practical training at the institution, saying “we will engage them in different practical works, and they will be doing the digital media practical.”
He expressed delight at receiving the UTG students and his work being recommended.
“I see myself as a mentor to many youths. My institution has trained so many young people which must of them are now qualified and I am very proud to see their success,” he added.
Shelkh Tijan Njie, a first year student and Amina Choi, second year, all expressed joy about the practical experience.
