Banjul United FC secured promotion back to first Division after they finished at the top of the second division league with an unassailable 53 points with a match to spare.
The team was formed in 2009 \10 and managed to cruise through the quadrangular to get a ticket to second division and graduated to spend three years in top flight before slipping a tier down last year.
