The Brufut Marathon Association, in partnership with Truth, Reconciliation and Reparations Commission (TRRC) will stage the silver jubilee of the Run on Saturday 13th April at Brufut Lower Basic School. The theme for this year is Justice and Reconciliation.
This 25th edition of the Marathon will be used to commemorate the victims of April 10th and 11, 2000 student massacre as well as promote the “Never Again Campaign” of the TRRC.
The event will again feature its three main races 21km, 10km race and 2 km. Besides being one of few major regular sporting events in the country, regularly producing athletes of high international standing, the Brufut Run has always prided itself on its social dimension by giving back to the most vulnerable, in education and health care.
