GAF GAMTEL FACE TIE-BREAKERS

The fate of two Gambian teams Gamtel and GAF will be decided today and tomorrow in the African Champions league and Confederation Cup respectively. Both teams managed away draws in the first leg of the these preliminary rounds and complete their assignment in front of the home crowd. First to take to the field will be Gambia Armed Forces who will face San Pedro of Ivory Coast this evening at the Independence Stadium. With an away goal in their bag the Soldiers just need to avoid conceding even if they cannot kill it with a victory. The Ivorians however know that they must attack to level the advantage and then explore other possibilities. The army are hell bent on qualifying to the first round and have assembled all available arsenal for this evening’s showdown. Put that aside and stand by for Gamtel tomorrow Wednesday as they go for the kill in the champions league against Algerian champions. ASC Constantine. It has ended goalless in Algeria and the balance of probabilities is that Gamtel, buoyed by home support is the team to beat. So two international crackers in store for Gambian fans beginning this evening]]>
