With about ten days to go before The Gambia meet Chad in the first leg of their Afcon tie in Cameroon, the Chadian players have already arrived and set up camp in Yaounde.
Bidding the team farewell, Sunday the country’s sports minister Mahmoud Ali Seid urged the players’ to write history.
On Saturday the country’s coach Mahamat Allamine Abakar released his final squad list of 30 players for the tie which included 17 foreign-based players and 13 home-based.

According to the Chadian football federation, the 13 local players and officials have left on a chartered flight Sunday for Cameroon.
