Kemo, Pa-Matarr quit political positions to keep GFF jobs

The Standard has been reliably informed that Kemo Ceesay, director of finance at the Gambia Football Federation GFF has relinquished his position as an executive member of the UDP.

Equally, Pa Matarr Mbowe, a physiotherapist at GFF has also quit his membership of the APRC to keep his job at Football House.

In line with GFF and general football regulations, full time politicians cannot hold positions in football administration. Last year, the GFF reportedly wrote to both men for them to conform with the regulations by giving up their positions in their parties or leave football.
