The Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Global Properties Limited, Mr. Saul Frazer has revealed that his company is currently building 200 affordable homes in The Gambia. This project was launched in January 2018.
Mr. Frazer made these revelations during a press interaction with journalists at the project site in Tujereng Estate ,Kombo South on Wednesday 27th March 2019.
Global Properties is a leading property developer in the country, which has provided thousands of quality and affordable homes to Gambians as well as additional property management services such as property rentals, document processing and leasing etc.
Mr. Frazer who started his business career in the UK before returning home in 2007 to set up the company six months later said he joined the property market with the sole desire to help Gambians and non-Gambians realise their dreams to property ownership.
According to him, within six months of returning home, he realized there were gaps in the housing market that limited people from property ownership since there was a lack of adequate financing options for individuals especially middle-income earners both home and abroad.
“With this in mind, the only way forward was to start a company that provides opportunity for home ownership and/or land acquisition in the Gambia. Today, Global Properties has expanded and has developments in Senegal and Ghana with offices in the UK and US and continues to grow”

He said the new homes at Tujereng Estate are built to ‘suit the needs of every homeowner in a serene and irresistible lifestyle choice.’
Frazer added that with several housing developments under its belt the latest ones include the Tujereng Housing Estate comprising 200 Bungalows and forest view apartments, which translates to continuation of raising the standard of living in The Gambia.
Mr. Frazer who is the Gambian ambassador at large for development and the 2009 young entrepreneur of the year for his innovative solutions to the property needs of Gambians, also disclosed that since its inception Global Properties has built more than 4900 homes across the country.
Mr. Frazer also mentioned that they are currently collaborating with The Gambia Partner Skill Center in Tujereng to train 50 students on electrical installation and other skill areas.
Prices for the homes in Tujereng are D 1. 5 million with a flexible payment plan of 30% down payment. A balance of D1, 050,000 can be paid over a period of 24 months equaling monthly payments of D 43, 750 per month. Three-year payment plans are also available.
