Moro Darboe, a hunter on Thursday told Magistrate Peter A. Che of the Brikama Magistrates’ Court that he found Alagie Ceesay on top of a woman having carnal knowledge of her.
Moro Darboe, the 2nd prosecution witness recalled that on 30 December, 2019 at about 22:00 hours whilst on his way to the forest to hunt, he heard a voice of a lady crying for help.
The witness disclosed that he went towards the direction and found the accused person lying on top of the victim and pointed his gun at him and asked him to stop.
The witness stated that the accused person got up and the victim was naked and crying with injuries on her knees.
Moro Darboe explained that the victim spoke to him in Fula language, saying the accused person wanted to kill her and he should help her.
The witness revealed that a passerby helped him and took the accused person and the victim to Gidda Police Post.
