By Bruce Asemota

Members of the Judiciary will today meet at the Ocean Bay Hotel in Bakau to review the Draft Constitution produced by the Constitutional Review Commission (CRC).
The review meeting would be chaired by the Chief Justice, Hassan Jallow. Other members of the Supreme Court, Gambia Court of Appeal and High Court judges, members of the Cadi appeals panel, judicial secretary, master and registrar of the high court, the sheriff of The Gambia, principal magistrates, are expected to attend.

The members would be looking at those areas that touch on the Judiciary.
It is noted that the Draft Constitution has departed from the 1997 Constitution in the area of the appointment of the Chief Justice and Judges of the superior courts and the composition of the Judicial Service Commission (JSC).
