The Director of KitAid Mr Derrick Williams has presented an official membership package of Arsenal FC, to President Adama Barrow who is a supporter of the team.
Williams presented this to the Gambia Director and representative of KitAid George Gomez in the UK recently.
According to Mr Gomez who will fly back to Banjul next week, the package will be presented to President Barrow if the appropriate audience can be arranged. A similar package has been acquired for the UTG professor Pierre Gomez. KitAid is a charity that collects recycles football kits and distributes to children and adults across the developing world. Since the Gambian chapter started a few years ago, numerous football clubs, community groups, churches and schools have benefitted from KitAid materials across the country.
